Job Description

Planning to Hire in Summer 2026.

The Role

You’ll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You’ll manage those relationships day-to-day, keep delivery on track, and make sure clients understand what’s working and why. You won’t just be passing messages between client and team — you’ll be close enough to the work to have a genuine view on it.

Day-to-day this looks like:

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts: onboarding, reporting, reviews, and retention
  • Running weekly and monthly performance calls — insight-led, not just a numbers read-out
  • Owning client communication: responsive, clear, and always commercially grounded
  • Working closely with our performance marketers to translate results into client strategy
  • Spotting opportunities to grow accounts and flagging them at the right moment
  • Keeping clients retained and satisfied — understanding when something’s off before they do

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have run campaigns yourself, but you need to understand how they work and be able to talk about performance with confidence. What matters more is whether you can hold a client relationship, manage expectations, and keep things moving.

Some foundation helps:

  • Experience in an account management, client services, or similar client-facing role — agency background preferred
  • Comfortable reading performance data. Not an analyst, but you can look at a Google Ads or Meta report and know what questions to ask
  • Strong communicator. Clear, concise, no waffle — written and verbal
  • Commercially minded. You understand margin, retention, and what it means for a client to get a return
  • Organised under pressure. You’ll be managing multiple clients with competing priorities
  • Proactive. You don’t wait to be told something’s wrong

What You’ll Get

  • Salary £30,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
  • Own portfolio of accounts from day one
  • Direct exposure to senior-level strategy and client work
  • Structured progression — a clear path to Senior AM
  • Hybrid working: 4 days Hitchin, 1 day remote
  • Training budget and platform certification support
We’re a boutique performance marketing agency based in Hitchin. We run paid media and CRO for a focused roster of B2B and B2C clients across Google Ads, Meta, and landing page optimisation. No brand fluff, no vanity metrics.

Everything we do is tied to measurable outcomes: leads, revenue, return on ad spend. We’re a small, direct team. That means you’ll get real responsibility early, work across live client accounts from day one, and learn the craft properly. Not make decks and sit in briefings.
